I’m big on ambiance and this place has it in spades. I love the tiny patio, but inside, the bar is pretty chill too. Mojo Taqueria has that “we’re pretty cool without trying” feel.
I haven’t been to Japan, but this is the kind of ramen restaurant I imagine is all over the place. Get it in my face fast because I gotta run, kind of ramen.
I have a soft spot for restaurants in houses, so when I saw Los Rudo’s Tacos y Hot Dogs was located in a cute Johnstown bungalow, I was extra excited (I am always excited about tacos).
This time, I visit a new-ish stripmall in Firestone, Colorado, and find some amazing pho.
Open for 35 years, this mom-and-pop restaurant has played a part in many people’s lives. In fact, I have a friend who grew up in Northern Colorado who claims it as her favorite. She is the first person who introduced me to Young’s Cafe many, many years ago.
I do not enjoy or intend to throw any small business under the bus, especially when I am no official pho critique. However, I know what I like and do not like.
